Man I want that bracelet.
Inspiration #2 | Cat Stevens
This week, as well as listening to copious amounts of Beyonce, I have had a little fling with Cat Stevens. Ever since I was a child struggling to keep my eyes ajar on the seemingly endless car trips to the beach house, Cat Stevens (along with Simon and Garfunkel and Neil Young) kept me awake by encouraging me to sing until my little voice was hoarse. Tea For The Tillerman and Teaser And The Firecat have been on constant repeat (bar short Beyonce breaks) in my crappy little C.D player all week, allowing me to fall in love with music/guitar/the 70s/ anything really to do with Cat Stevens all over again. Some recommended tracks are of course the obvious Father And Son, Longer Boats, How Can I Tell You, Bitterblue, Into White, The First Cut Is The Deepest and Oh Very Young. Enjoy x
~suggestive shot of a denim clad Stevens is of course completely necessary~

Inspiration #3 | Tove Jansson
As I mentioned earlier I am currently reading Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures In Wonderland/Alice Through The Looking Glass and dodgy back story aside, I'm quite enjoying the stories. Although John Tenniel's illustrations are all very good and well, I prefer Tove Jansson's adaptions. Tove is pretty much everything I admire in a woman and her simplistic yet beautiful depictions of scenes from Alice's Adventures In Wonderland lend an eerily timeless quality to the story. Here's a little preveiw:

Inspiration #4 | Paloma Faith
I really am in love with this woman, seriously. Her music, style, voice, attitude and down-right glorious smile of hers make me seriously consider resurrecting that Femme Fatale series I did earlier in the year. She's cheeky and delightful and is restoring my hope in modern music. Check her out, seriously.
P.S Do you spy that fantastic comedian I was spluttering over the other day? *Ahem Noel Fielding Ahem*
Anyhow, that's about it at the moment, be kind and do all you can that's right x
